Paintballing

you take it that most people have done it..and quite a few years back was my first time, it was my mates stag do and a load of us went, it was a whole days event with paint balling, quad biking, archery, and air rifles...

my mate (the groom) was a door man...so he bought his door man mates....they were loony's......it all started from the off really...as we pulled away in the mini bus..out come the creates of beers from under the seats...so...by time we arrived they had had a few, we got are overalls and face masks and made our way to the staff briefing, it was us, up against these guys who do it all the time...with there pro paint ball guns and take things very serious.. they told us the rules on what you can and can't do....no shooting from the shoulders up, and no shooting close up.....and when you have been hit during the game, you are to stand at the designated flagged area, is that clear, he said, he blew his whistle and started the game,......well.....from the off, that when flying out the window, and had fallen on deaf ears....it was bedlam, mayhem, all i could hear was....ow you b*****d.....ouch you dickhead....you b*****d take that......bbbbbbbbang as i was running for cover, they were shooting each other instead of shooting the other team.......... but eventually they got the idea that they had to shoot the other side, and boy...was the other side serious....when one of them managed to shoot one of ours, and he didn't stop because he had been shot...the other guy said.....oi, i shot you, you have to stand by the flag.....like a school boy with his arm in the air, looking over to the staff, to get my mate out of the game....with that....whilst he was standing up winning.......i blasted him with a good few rounds.... cor, did i get the look of discussed.... but all's fair in love and paint balling... we did this for an hour or so, and then so many of us went onto the other activities that were booked...when my mate and his loony mates went on the air rifle range.....the loonyness never stopped there, my mates..mate grabbed a loaded air rifle....he turn to my mate......he said, oi......as my mate turn round.....his mate shot him in the chest.... .......my mates..gone...you b*****d....with that, they held him down trying to squeeze the pellet out like a black head......with that we started to head back were the action was in the paint ball area, and my mates holding his chest....when we got back to the area, we carried on with the paintballing, my mate sat it out...... but whilst my mate was stood there bent over with his hands on his knees (because of his chest)....another guy shot him from behind in the bollocks with a paint ball gun for 4-5 feet away...... the poor blokes on the floor holding his nuts.....swearing in pain.....while his mates are pissing them selves laughing...... ....but before all this had gone on. the staff put some games on for all of us to do...one of them was for the groom and best man to run from one end of this area to the other end....about 40-50yrds long, and all of us had to stand in a line a long side....so when they had to run from end to end we could shoot them...well...my mates came running up the coarse and we just let them have it..... there were paint balls bouncing off my mates bold head, i couldn't stop laughing.....it was even funnier the second and third time they had to do it, on the second run my mates mask actually got knock around the side of his head, i took full advantage and planted a smacker right on his bonce...he had bumps coming up..... there was loads of other funny moments my stomach was aching, when i got home i took off my cloths to have a shower and it looked like i was covered in love bite from being hit with the balls........... never again.......

Only done it once. I had bruises all over me but the one i remember most was where my mate shot me from point blank range in the side to "test" his gun. I had a bruise that got bigger and purpler for days afterwards, finally going yellow after a week or so.

I only went twice,first time paint balling was in its infancy an we was using single shot splat master pistols ,magazine tube held about 10 paintballs ,an tbh it was great fun.

Second time was later on had the proper gun with banana shaped magazine on top that you tipped bag of paintballs in,those hurt,kiddy I went with had fa cup ears he got shot in the ear an boy did it hurt him,he had blood pouring out as well,

went once my mate got one in the neck from close range

that was as far as we got before a mass brawl started

we lost the paint balling but won the fight

you should of seen the bruise on my mates neck

My favourite my memory of paintballing is this..........The whistle went, I ran straight to a two level wooden fort in the middle of the battle zone. Got myself to the top up a ladder & through a small hatch space. Soon after a mate appeared at the level below & I spent the whole game shooting his fingers through the hatch & he never looked up !?!? Haha.....

 

.....The end the game his fingers were a bloody mess! Hahaha.....

I was surprised at how much it hurt especially on my inner thigh my leg was all the colours of a rainbow when I got home but it was a great laugh
