Lloyd90 509
Yea mate a hawke panarama 4-12x40 with IR, sat in the garden using it I love both the scope and rifle Sat in the garden shooting off a food table with a pillow, took a few shots and adjustments to get it shooting spot on. After putting a few through the centre of the target I spotted a few ferns growing up the embankment behind my target. Lined the scope up with the stem of the ferns for a laugh, TWANG. I watched almost in shock as the fern fell over in slow motion. I missed the next one, followed by another 3 falling down. Fair play couldn't ask for more than that off to sort out some egg stealing crows on a mates farm I've recently for permission on next few days 2 Quote Link to post

Lloyd90 509
??? I picked up the TX but it was a bit light weight, felt like a gun a girl or a pussy would use lol! Na mate it was also a stunner, just so happened they had this in from a trade and it included a nice scope already setup for a price I could just about afford. Very happy with it, my little sister who's 15 next week even had a shot, she's an absolute crack shot, 25 yards and 2 shots touching and one within an inch, never even fired a gun before. Glad I'm back off to Bristol tomorrow or I can see her pinching it lol! Had 5 corvids in the garden today. 2 Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,568
All opinions and preferences, the "looks" of a rifle - but is she a "bag filler" with her owner ? She is - but he might not be. My opinion is, that the T Rex, is " Far better looking and by far the better rifle"- by a country mile Niceprix will be along shortly "Only saying like" 2 Quote Link to post

You are supposed to buy the TX first and then take the next step up to the Pro Sport. (Their words not mine) <Edit re Mark's post above> At least I know what are the actual differences between the two guns Unlike somebody I could name Edited June 7, 2016 by Nicepix Quote Link to post

Lloyd90 509
Na mate I might buy my little sis a TX tho seems to suit small girls best Hahaha, I'm going to enjoy it here lads It's nice to be able to sit in the garden and shoot, not like the rimfire or centre fire I've had for years. Love having a springer back in my hands. Takes me back to the long summers I spent outside with the great uncle shooting all day. Prob why I enjoying showing the sis how to do it even my wee nephew from my older sister had a go (just pulled the trigger sat on my lap) and he managed to put the pellet right dead centre through a bottle or Sprite of filled with water! He's only 4 and asking his mum when he's old enough to get one ??? 3 Quote Link to post

Nicepix 5,650
That was quick I was typing my reply at the same time that you were. Not as a response it it. Anyway. You reckoned to have put me on ignore. That was before your childish insults and subsequent silence after realising that you had repeated a statement that was bollox. At least Philpot had the gonads and good grace to admit that he didn't know that the power plants are the same. Quote Link to post
