Evening On Anything

Managed to get away from my desk at about 4 this afternoon. Headed over to the Manor house perm Ive had for a while. Ive noticed quite a bit of rabbit activity later on in the evenings on previous visits. I did plan to go to another permission on the way back home which is on route, so didn't stay long.

 

Managed the two, but god sake was the first rabbit a mission. Bloody deserved the sodding thing the amount of stalking I had to do. Took him standing from about 25'ish yards when he was out in the sun near a big scrub area, a right pock sound from the pellet behind the eye.

 

Before long I wont be able to see them the nettles are growing at a super fast rate.

 

The next rabbit was bagged along the hedge of a big field, a fair distance from the house. That one had it from a prone position over my bag. Both a good size, not to big, just right. I did drive over to the other permission, and have a look around a herb garden the owner is sick of being eaten by rabbits, took one but no image as the phone had given in after 10 mins of being there, then I headed off home.

 

Rapids coming along well. It might not be a 'surgical' on paper, but for some reason its potent on live quarry. As to be expected. Its a Rapid Not trading it in now, its fine.
