Hw 100 Kt .177 Never Ceases To Amaze Me.

After giving the HW 100 KS .22 a good outing a week or so ago using F,A,P pellets on Wood pigeon (31 yds lazed) to very effective results i thought i would "really test" my 100 kt .177 on the new woodland corner permission, for an hour tonight.

The trees in this corner are enormous and i lazed the shots taken, to ranges of 1st 46 yds, 2nd 51 yds and 3rd 53 yds.

All three pigeons just "folded" again, - just instant ! To watch those Wood pigeon just fold and drop from those heights the way they did was awesome.

Full on heart/ lung, 8.4 grain AA fields.

Three shots, three wood pigeon, my pup retrieved the lot again (I`m just made up tonight lads)

 

The pigeon`s crops were ram, jammed full of rape seed plants leaves.

 

 

I`ll take the HW 100 ks .22 for the next shoot on this woodland corner to compare performance. (Especially at long range)

I'm with you all the way on that one pal.

Without wanting to start a brand war, my previous pcp, Aas410 was faultless, light, accurate....I mean consistently accurate at range and I wondered how I could better that. Well as you said in the title Mark im amazed almost every time i take my hw100t out. Whatever the circumstances, trees, steep banks, when you really don't have any other option but take a longer range shot the quarry just fold up.

I'm pretty sure your results will be just as good with the .22 pal.

I believe Ratworks are releasing a much improved AA S200 soon. Mr Pitterway seems rather interested in it.
