Fair play to anyone who can do consecutive marathons, its a massive achievment.

Fair play took some doing and he raised a lot of money he is obviously one mentally tough chap No spring chicken either. I did an ultra once and ended up in an ambulance at the finish line lol so hats off to him

Bloke makes my skin crawl but respect anyone who can run 27 more marathons than me. Ive not done a marathon for years...since they changed to snickers!

Regards being a celebrity it means he raises more money for a charity due to the exposure, strokes his ego, puts himself on a pedastal as a world saving charity worker and all that. I seem to remember a man who was a bit odd and did a lot of charity work look how that turned out now then now then.

 

Though similar to other posts Id add he hasnt been training inbetween workin a 60 hour week and having a wife, two kids 3 dogs and 4 ferrets to tend too aswell as a dump of a house to constantley work on. Show me a man that can do that and maybe I will think I should be givin it a go.

He didn't run them he ran some of the way, walked or crawled most and probably jumped in the van when the cameras were off. I'd say it was impossible

He raised over a million pound for charity so I doubt that he bluffed it ... Hats off to the man that takes some physical and mental toughness ......

That's easy when your a face on telly and have a team running round doing all the chasing up for you. Corporate companies are falling over themselves to be seen to be doing the right thing. Same with all those famous people "climbing" Kilimanjaro. If it was me or you, we'd be happy to raise a couple of hundred quid. If half of these so called celebrities dipped into their own pockets they wouldn't need to do it. I'll bet a gong is in the post now for our Eddie. It's impossible to do

Feck me there are some real jealous people about. You do not have to like a person to respect what they do. Funnily enough you never hear of the detractors doing anything themselves. No matter what his motives are he has raised a lot of money for charities! How much have you lot raised?
