shepp 2,285
I would go bed and breakfast because i would be concerned the food could be crap at the hotel and i love Greek food. Plus i like to hire a car and travel around the area. I can't stand sitting around the pool all day eating and drinking for the sake of it, bores me shitless after two days.
shepp 2,285
I went to Kefalonia last year and loved the place, i could imagine buying a holiday or retirement home there one day.

shepp 2,285
In Greece i found prices of food and drink to be at least 1/3 cheeper than UK, food was of a better standard too.

Your about right wit the 3Rd cheaper I'd say... When we was there we got recommended a small fishing village restaurant I can't remember the name of the place now... I ordered there top dish seafood spectacular.... It was enough to feed 5 people and absolutely delicious all for 19 Euro... Definitely worth getting of the beaten track for. Parabuteos lad 878
If you end up anywhere near Agia Napa part of the island get yourself to dhekalia (spelling?) English army base you can drive on no problem they got a few shops and a market but the fish and chips there are better than anywhere I've ever had
