morton 5,369
There will be plenty of litters but 95% will be bred for the wrong reason You are possibly more optimistic than me Rory,id have said 98%,as long as 2 or 5 % are put into honest kennels now then lads seeking genuine Beddy,s have a chance,IF THEY DO THEIR BLOODY HOMEWORK,then in the future the % will rise and rise.Alas with the Bedlington it always seems to be 1 step forward and 3 back, because of the chancers and ego,s in the breed for financial reward.Marmite terriers the Beddy, sadly the reason many hate them is because they have encountered the majority that are bred,if they source the genuine minority bred, they will always have a Beddy in the kennel, often as the main dog. 1 Quote Link to post

The working types about are more abundant than what some may perceive, sadly they are swamped in Beddy dross. They are not on the decline, they are well on a resurgent path, its the people about that seek an easier route to Bedlington Nirvana and the mother lode that is still their ruination, source a pup thats hard to find, then reap terrier reward. resistance 189
Only ever seen a bedlington once wasn't even off of workers was just a dog for mooching and rabbiting. Long story short found its way to a pig and was a total accident and it never backed down one bit. Crazy little curly devil shocked all Quote Link to post
