villaman 9,982
Once again been out for a hour at one of my farm permissions , every where is soaking wet making it hard work of walking As i was walking across the fields ,i thought of Mark and his field craft, so tonight i concentrated on shooting at no more than 35 yards , .which many of you know at night when every thing is silent with no wind and wet fields it can be very difficult. So spotted about 10 rabbits at 100 yards away , of i go in craft mode stopping every 10 yards and looking through the NV,just to make sure they are still there . I had managed to get to with in 45 yards of the rabbits and thought , do i take the shot or do I try for 35 yards , so decided to go for 35 yards ,as I am walking i counted 10 paces ,stopped looked through NV and spotted 8 rabbits , went down on one knee took aim first one down ,turned a bit to the left and shot another . By this time the others thought , feck this we are not staying around for this c**T to shoot us and f****d off These are the first two of this year for me , which one is milky and the other had 5 inside her , shame as i dont really shoot these normally but the farmer wants them gone 5 Quote Link to post
