Shooting Range /pro Sport And Hw100 /aa Express /jsb Rs 177

Recommended Posts

Well me and vis went to the range he to set up his new R10

me to see what the express were like out to 33 yards and more

some targets were all ready out so loaded the p,p up with the express well .hmmmm .what can i say

1st , sot in

2nd shot in same hole

3rd as well

4th " out to the right

5, " out to the left

then all over the place you would of thought i had used a scatter gun never mind a shot gun

This was repeated through out the after noon .

Spinners,,,, hit

spinners ,,,,miss

tiny spinners,,, hit

miss,,,, hit miss hit ,,,miss

5 shot group then off on its own way again

by this time i was going to smash it off the bench i was that sick

Try,d it with Vis,s jsb rs but much the same

even put jsb exact jumbos through her with the same results

by this time i was sweating and getting bad temper,d

By the way the scope that was on it was the VIPER that i got off vis and i new it was ok

Sean (vis) say,d give it to me and he started hitting every thing with it nothing wrong here its you go and make us a bovril and chill out so i did on my return Sean was not hitting a thing it had gone back to its own way again .

Now this rifle was putting pellet on pellet just about grouping were not much bigger than a 177 pellet with A.A. express out to 30 yards at our perm range

BUT WAS FITTED WITH THE HAWK SIDE WINDER

And when i sold them to JJM (Jeff) i fitted the MTC VIPER and i was in a rush so just tightend it up and off i went

THEN SEAN SAW the problem .

some thing i could of kicked my self for .

Some thing i had all ready commented on last night.

and now feel like a right C*nt as i had not done it my self .

Now this pro sport has a hell of a kick and is very snappy and yes before you say any thing i aloud for this when taking the shots.

Sean say,d to me did you mount your scopes that far back.

ERRR ,,,,,,,,NO <<<<<,,FECK

Even tho the scope was tight it was creeping back to the point it was nearly off at the back

SCOPE CREEP i had not put the pin in the hole in fact i had not even winded it out of it chamber if i had i would of noticed that the mount that holds the pin was on the front of the scope and the front mount was on the back .

Well it just go,s to show even us ROOKYS get it wrong some times lol

Well at least iv got my hw100 eh

Loaded up the mag with the falcon accuracy plus put up two targets watch,d Vis put pellet on pellet with the r10 out to 33 yrds .

ha, ill do that no bother with the hw100 NOT A HOPE IN HELLS CHANCE

Now once again i was putting pellet on pellet with this rifle out to 30 yrds at the perm range

But id of had more chance if i through the rifle at the targets

Now i had this problem the last time after i used the SCORPION 177 then went back to 22

And its some thing iv got to learn and get used to as im not selling the pro sport this time as i no what this rifle is capable of ( i no Mark but i do like the rifle )

So i stopped and sat back for a bit and then picked the 100 back up 33 yrds under 5p grouping and hitting all the spinners and even a tin can out to 50,,, 60 yards every time and putting the pellet where i wanted. ( got to say mind Vis was making this look easy)

So ,, the pro sport is going to get a strip down and a polish and a vmach kit fitted just like my last one and the 97k i had .

The scope is fitted to the raider now with no chance of scope creep lol

Once the rifle is sorted its getting a brand new set of glass on her

Hawk eclipse with a 56 lens

or some thing else iv got my eye on

Both 30/30 ret

And yes it will have the pin in the hole this time .

I think Sean has found the rifle that suits him now he was cracking to day with the r10

No photos to day lads as it was like i had just picked up a rifle for the first time

and to say i was em-barest is an under statement to say the least

FECKING SCOPE CREEP :cray::laugh:

You right about 1 thing Jimmy, the r10 and me did click, it was pure comfort shooting the r10, even tho the bolt is on the wrong side, it was less effort and more comfortable to use than my hw100, loading speed , point ability , weight , length , shot count , it does the job very nicely , even going back to basics with the white tail classic, that also did well - and I've told you- you want a light duty scope for the pro sport, nowt fancy

Thank`s for sharing "What we have all done Mac"

Had a confidence bonding session with my T Rex today,- she was matching the HW 100 kt in all departments. The T Rex is an awesome springer, 5p groups all afternoon on final Zero.

I left my tx200hc at home today as I needed to bed the r10 in, I should have took it, as I fitted it with some new glass yesterday, a nice clear Nikko sterling game king 4-16x50 ao, I might even strip it down this week and knock the power down a bit, just to smooth it out a bit more, but they will mate any other gun in the right hands.

Glad to see in there that you're not selling it,sort it and start again, you'll soon be back singing it's praises and proudly putting up pics! We've all forgot or overlooked something at some point (haven't we? :hmm: ) and usually it sticks in the mind and doesn't happen again (too often  ) I think you're over thinking just a tad at times with this calibre, pellet, rifle and scope swapping and testing so not thinking out every single detail, most of us only swap one thing at a time!! :D
