Rabid 1,936
Has anyone kept them before for meat ? My mrs has decided she loves the taste of them, and I know a man who imports some from France, (supposedly meat birds). I kept a few years ago and remember they were darned noisy things ! dytkos 17,955
Used to have permo from a farmer near Connahs Quay, used to give us a dozen eggs every time we caught a fox and a bird each at Christmas. Bloody lovely. Cheers, D.
jok 3,471
Noisiest guards I ever had. So much so that my neighbour waited till we were on holiday and , guess what, no more fowl. They do eat very nice though.
stevo79 569
Got given 50 and they make a load of racket but as been said they taste lovel and there bloody good at letting you know somethings about. They are only good free range though they don't like being cooped up. Atb
