Getting Back Into It

Looking at getting another pcp not shot in a year or two. Been thinking ulta multi shot or r10 but still undecided. Is there much difference in the mk1 and mk2 in the r10 and what's the best all round gun. Cheers

The mk1 r10 had it`s faults, the mk2 is the improved version.

The BSA Ultra SE is a superb pcp and all round gun. especially in .177

If possible try both out, is shot count a priority? price? both will do the job asked from them.

If you can afford a r10

Take a look at the famous hw100

I've had the r10 , sold it a long time ago , I've bought the 100 and never looked back

If you can get a MK1 or MK2 cheap then send it to XTX AIR for a reg and tune ,you will have a great gun

 

Had two r10 in the past 3 years and sold both ,

 

The ultra is a great gun but even better , in fact fantastic gun after its been to XTX air for a reg and tune and still cheaper than a r10

 

I just dont like buddy bottle guns but as mentioned by DE ,you will have a job to beat HW100 in any formate IMO and many other too

Air arms range worth a look,hw takes some beating and is popular on here,BSA are decent enough,some of the cheaper ones get good reviews and would save you a few quid,only you can decide really,shoulder a few and handle them,get the feel and ask questions because you're buying a rifle for yourself not one of us!!

A mate just got an Air Arms 510 ultimate sporter laminate stock etc and it looks fantastic but I would not swap it for my Hw100 fsb.
