Looks like anthracite.

My advice would be that whatever you buy, make sure it's black !

Is that coal tc mate?

It's coal dust and cement made into briquettes usually 80% coal dust and 20% cement a lot cheaper than coal and gives good heat and last for ages. A lot of old people used to make it for themselves by balling it in their hands.

Thanks mate, do you know if the coal is press by hand or machine?

 

I believe it is machine pressed the commercial stuff.

Just seen her and when I asked her she looked at me with a blank look on her face. I don't think she knows that you can burn coal. :laugh:
