leegreen 2,286
Get your self down to your local sheet metal workers, tool room, coach works etc. All you need is a band saw, be cheaper than posting it.
air gun ant 1,666
I could do it/get it done at work but as said probably easier to find someone local as postage won't be cheap I wouldn't think? If your stuck give me a shout we have a bandsaw and a profile burner at work....

lukey 1,621
Can't you get metal cutting blades for a jigsaw? That should do the trick mate easy to get hold of and should cut easy enough
NELS0N 457
Can't you get metal cutting blades for a jigsaw? yes you can but you'll have to make sure you get the correct blade for the material type and thickness, set the correct cutting speed or you'll be pissing in the wind, you'll get a poor cut due to clogged up blades

What's wrong with a hacksaw and file? Old school I've rough cut stacks of things with an angle grinder, cut it some were close, then file it to size, easy job.

stealthy1 3,964
Why's that then? A flapper is a sanding disc By the time I clear the clutter from my bench and vice in the shed, and then tidy it up, I could have it done with the angle grinder and the BnD workhorse, if it was some thing a little more complicated than a catty, then it's tidy up the shed and put a new blade in the band saw. I know what you mean about grinding ally, it clogs and can bind the cutter if your not careful.
treecreeper 1,136
It can cause the disk to explode, the dust is linked to various deseases and if you or anyone else has used the disk to cut or grind steels or iron you have all the ingredients for a thermite bomb.
