Air Arms S410 Out Of The Box Preformance

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Im in the market for a new air rifle and am looking at a new s410/s510 But think i swaying towards a s410.

Im just wondering are these guns nice to shoot straight out of the box or would you say they need tuning.

Resaon im asking is because when i was buying my tx200 it was between that or a 97kt. But the trend was to

Tune the 97kt to have it up to the same preformance as the tx200 which was good out of the box.

Hope to hear from you all soon.

No need to tune a s410 or any pcp imo

the s410 is a cracking rifle and one of the best out there

but if your buying new just clean the barrel out as most new rifles have factory grease in them even the hw100

after that lead the barrel with your chosen pellet and in most cases do it again when you find the pellet the rifle likes not you lol

have fun and stay safe

with what ever you buy

PS a tx200 is out of this world out of the box

but a tune,d and polished 97 is out of the universe no comparison what so ever

a tune,d 97 all day long i should no iv had plenty lol

410 is, for me, the one that go away, never had one, had an early S300 serial 069 when they first came out in the mid 90's and f**k me that was epic.

I personally would look, as mark says, around the S510's, and probably would get one if they did a carbine version. A carbine 510 with shroud :D
