Any Laws To Prevent Lifetime Banning From Keeping Dogs To Stop The Arsepca Using This ?

As stated is there any way to counter a ban on keeping dogs if the arsepca, courts etc push to ban you from keeping dogs? Too many people have been made criminals by the stupid hunting act, and now they're pushing for a lifetime ban on people who hunt with dogs if they come a cropper by accident or intent. They use this to try n ban hunters from hunting with dogs so by banning the men from the dogs it's a sure way they enforce their anti ban.

The hunting act is an absolute cluster fukc, the fact that any part of it is brought into a courtroom shows the ignorance of anyone pushing for a prosecution involving that garbage

It just seems to be the norm nowadays any hunting related offences they try push a ban. It's just wrong if anybody needs banning from keeping dogs it's them

they will use the animal welfare act rather than the hunting act to get a ban and recover costs as it carries stiffer penalties.

Doesn't the animal welfare act section 9 cover the following ?

 

Needs to have suitable environment

Needs suitable diet

Needs to be housed suitable

Needs to disply normal behaviour

Needs to protected against injury ,diesase and suffering

So they must be trying to use the last one, to gain convictions by fabricating and bending the law and somehow getting courts to agree dog has been ill treated , I have read cases in the papers where folk starve and beat dogs and they get less.

yer supposed to have a dog licence here also chipped,here talk now of fellas stopped out hunting and dogs took under some mad law over this,its an excuse to get the dogs in their possesion then their checking scars,condition ect and make a mountain out of a mole hill.

If you unfortunately get a ban, buy the wife a lurcher for her bd and the kid a terrier for Christmas. Have them chipped to their owners and if one day/night they need someone to walk it then do so

Really annoys the sh@t out of me that we are portrayed as the bad guys. Yet people who don't exercise their dogs and over feed them so they become seriously over weight so they can barely walk aren't punished just 'educated'. Hunting dogs in general are fed the best have regular exercise and have a purpose in life yet the RSPCA can't wait to force a prosecution through just because they disapprove of hunting.

but what if dog is caught poaching still gets taking doesn't it ?

Yh but some dogs just cant help themselves, we spend all our time and energy raising our little fur babies right and then they get in with the wrong crowd. Before we know it little trixie is poaching

I know a lad had dog chipped and registered to his mum and her property, got caught poaching mum said he stole dog so they had to give it back but guy did get fined big time so not the best idea .

Pal of mine got a life time ban (not hunting related) and he's going to be appealing it but his lawyer recommended waiting a year or two after his conviction, easier to argue he's a changed man then.

 

I don't think having the dogs in your Mrs's name will help any, you're not allowed dogs living in the same residence as you, doesn't matter who the registered owner is. I could be wrong though, it's really hard to get any kind of concrete answer on these laws.

There's always ways round it. Police aren't gonna waste their time come knocking your door regular to see if you have got a dog living with you.

 

RSPCA might. But you tell them to piss off.

 

Should you be seen walking a friends dog then it would be just that. Your missus was looking after a friends dog and it needed walking. Etc etc etc.

 

They can believe and think what they want, same as anything it's all about proof.
