Yokel Matt 918
If the landowner is serious about corvid control they need to think about a ladder trap or a larson. Getting a numb arse waiting with an airgun, shotgun or rimfire will play a part but to make a proper dent in the numbers you want to get the traps working. Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,568
Top left field by the nuclear power station stinks the worst , you know Mac, where all the three eared rabbits get shot. The adjoining field, where nothing grows, is where the "glow in the dark" rabbits come from, the ones that don`t need night vision too see . The "petrified woods" is where i shot one of those squirrels with two heads, they are every where Mac, you need to "get on top of them". atb twat x Edited October 14, 2015 by mark williams Quote Link to post

charlie caller 3,654
It would be a great experiment to try sitting hidden in blaze orange, like the yanks have to do, I suggest if you wore a face mask and gloves you would shoot just as much as wearing a full ghillie suit, cammo works very well on human eyes, on animals, Im not so sure, thats not to say I dont use it,I do, but it would be fun to try the blaze orange thing out Quote Link to post

treecreeper 1,136
They are only wary of stuff the see as out of the ordinary, if they get used to people they don't spook, see it on a few places I go working can walk right past rabbits crows etc in hi viz gear as they know there's no threat. I remember watching a passion for angling as a kid Chris Yates put a deck chair with a dummy sat in it in the water for a few week and baited the front of it, then when he went fishing he was sat in the chair and the fish swam right up to him Edited October 14, 2015 by treecreeper Quote Link to post
