hjckcff 1,738
is everyone looking forward to getting a few pics of the blood moon. I hope the sky is clear as I missed the eclipse due to cloud cover. and as it may bring doom on us all it could be the last chance to get a good pic . any pointers would be good

Mister Gain 1,764
I managed to watch quite a lot of the progress of the eclipse as I don't sleep too well. Thought I would try to get a shot of the 'blood moon' with my undergunned lens. Turned all the lights off and waited for what I thought would be a decent(ish) photo. 7.1 second exposure. As I went back to the camera I saw the dog was sniffing the tripod, the b*stard, and had been all the way through the shot. Result = Failure of epic proportions.

Bosun11 537
Got up at 3am and seen a washed out orange moon in eclipse. Was waiting to see this blood red thing but it was orangy... Went back to bed about 3.30 only to fall back asleep about two mins before me alarm went off for work at 5... Or it felt like that anyway!! To be honest i was more impressed with last nights sunset and this mornings sunrise, they were spectacular!
