Coypu Hunter 486
They're great. Oh, you want more detail? They have a fixed barrel which, allegedly, makes for better accuracy. Edited August 25, 2015 by Coypu Hunter 2 Quote Link to post
barrywhite 282
a friend has a cfx gamo a similar gun to the polaris its is a good gun despite it being a gamo . if the polaris is in good condition it should be a good gun but like the gamo it is a cheap design under lever , but still acurate and powerful . 1 Quote Link to post
The one 8,585
I've a Wembley tracker with a side lever nice enough gun but the only problem with lever guns is the noise after you have used a pcp 1 Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
I've a Wembley tracker with a side lever nice enough gun but the only problem with lever guns is the noise after you have used a pcp You must have sensitive hearing... a little clink of a safety catch to much? The downside for me is they are a lump to carry all day [The good ones]. A few hours fine. But 8 hours gets a bit to much. 1 Quote Link to post
j j m 6,615
ive the prosport in 22 great gun i cant knock it but a bit heavy at times while out shooting 1 Quote Link to post
random 659
But sometimes the weight helps keep it stable and stops the front end flip, personally I like underlevers,hw97 and tx200 are two fantastic rifles,if you fancy it take a chance? 3 Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,568
Very pleased with my brand new, shiney, T Rex 200 hc (.177 of coarse ). Extremely accurate and rock solid off shooting sticks i wouldn`t hesitate in recommending this rifle for hide shooting . She took 20 wood pigeons and one large corvid on her first 3 hr session. Check one out DF. P.S ditto to Rez`s post (weight) Edited August 25, 2015 by mark williams 3 Quote Link to post
defector65 27
Had a go today of the gun felt it was a little fiddly to get pellets in odd one was sticking proud of the breach and catching? he was using smk spitfires. Undecided! Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,568
Put Air Arms Fields through her and you can shoot the knackers off a midgey to 40 plus yards and load with ease. Good luck with your choice Edited August 25, 2015 by mark williams 2 Quote Link to post
jonnie bravo 572
Love my prosport, it's a gorgeous gun. My 99 is a break barrel. It has just a slight bit of droop which means I need shims on the scope to be able to zero properly. The prosport doesn't suffer from this at all, it's super straight. Any decent fixed barrel should be fine in this department 1 Quote Link to post
VWman 232
Underlever, well they are still talking about air sporters after all these years. Modern day underlevers well HW77/97, Walther LGU then there are others bringing up the rear. Great real world rifles that your kids could pass on to there kids. Don't forget to check out Air arms top draw rifles. Edited August 25, 2015 by VWman 1 Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
I'd second the LGU. The Mrs old man has one and its superb. To be honest there new master pro is theeeee best looking break barrel on the market right now. Get one. Show me it. I'll get one. 1 Quote Link to post
Robby762 3
Just recently back into Air rifles i bought a second hand MK1 TX200 for just under £200 , great gun needs a little tlc but again its AIR ARMS and worth refurbishing, cant beat an underlever in second hand guise with the barrel being fixed. 1 Quote Link to post
