lurcherman 887 13,435
Dont most wormers dissolve the worm in the gut ? Quote Link to post
2504 92
They dissolve the worms normally unless the pup is riddled and then you will see the odd worm come out!!! Quote Link to post

skycat 6,174
Puppy wormers don't necessarily dissolve the worms. And roundworms usually come out whole even when I've used Drontal Plus on small pups. Tapeworms just seem to dissolve as I've never seen any come out after I've wormed adult dogs. Maybe round worms have a tougher skin? Personally I like to see round worms come out dead: like has been said: at least you know its working. BUT I've also found that most so called puppy wormers aren't given correctly (over several days or whatever it says on the packet) Far too many people think you only have to give them one dose as though they were using an adult Drontal type wormer. 3 Quote Link to post

Do you think I should worm her again or leave it the 2 weeks ? 3 came out and they appeared to be dead. She has done the toilet since and there was no sign of any in that one. Quote Link to post
nothernlite 18,260
That will be her then why we're you raging what age is the pup? Quote Link to post
HBG 350
Most pups wormed every couple of weeks from 2 weeks of age will probs shite a few dead ones after each worming,if the pup still looks wormy do it again after the weekend but i wouldn't worry if the pups seems happy and healthy enough, you can usually look at a pup and tell if its bad wid worm, belly always look bloated and round. Meeks 153
Was just annoyed because I was told she had been wormed since 2wk old and these were big.tbh her belly doesn't look as swollen this morning and there has been nothing else in her poo. Quote Link to post

lurchers 2,985
Get some panacur mate 10/ mix depending on the age of the pup 2ml every day for 3days on the bottle but I go for 5 then same again a week later.then worm every 3mths after that mate them extra 2days doesn't harm them but gets everything out.atb 1 Quote Link to post
