Why not just let them do their thing this year: they are useful little things: and before they start up again next spring just put some fine metal mesh, like what you'd get in an old-fashioned meat safe, over the holes to stop them using them again. Or put a box out they may move into it. I have mason bee boxs and they mostly completely move out of last years box and into the new ones next to it. Also when they emerge next year they will open up the internal mud caps and let it drain again. Interesting things mason bees! 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
