David Aiken 253
I`ve finally done it, finished the original tin of 500 Webley pellets that came with my Webley Tempest! Yep, all 500 gone in just....35 years! Needleless to say the old Tempest is run-in and in fine condition! 2 Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
tin of pellets probably be worth about the same as the gun if you hadn't shot them, old Webley stuff goes for stupid money. Edited July 1, 2015 by treecreeper Quote Link to post

treecreeper 1,136
Honestly, look at the old webley pellets on ebay they go for daft money. There's pellets on there atm that are more than I payed for a webley rifle with scope and bag. 1 Quote Link to post
Dan Dare 19
Crazy. It's like the old Matchbox toys that people keep in the box that turn up on the Antiques Roadshow or Flog It. Virtually anything old seems to go for silly money. Quote Link to post

Nowhere near as nice as my .22 senior though. Quote Link to post

Hmmmm Webley senior, real nice pistol, I would have one if one ever comes up at the right money, I nearly bought one(well my dad nearly bought me one) about 1978 I think, but ended up going for the BSA Scorpion pistol, shot loads of stuff with that. Rimfireboy! 1,463
I bought my tempest in 1975, 23 pounds Tempest wasn't in production until 1979, yours must have been a premier mk2. Quote Link to post

They are a lovely little pistol, the seniors, mines doing 5.1 ft lbs with wasps and shoots really sweet. Much nicer than the snappy tempest that only produces 3.5 ft lbs. I think the webley pistols suit .22 better than .177 though. The ones I've used always seems smoother anyway and the early seniors and premiers are so much nicer in every way than the later cast alloy bodied efforts. Just my opinion though.. Quote Link to post
