Eg Walsh had a good book can't mind the name off it

He has two, "Lurchers and Longdogs" and "Longdogs by Day". Both good books but both more instructional rather than anecdotal I think.
maybe Iam thinking of a diffrent book then

Jock of the bushveldt can be read free here:- http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/36951

I think Astanley's pulling our legs over the Mark Brick book. I've never heard of it anyway.

The Plummer books will be available from "Tideline books" http://www.tidelinebooks.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=87 or "Coch y bondu" books and the Dave Harcombe one probably too. http://www.tidelinebooks.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=804

Bookfinder.com is a decent site if you're searching for books.

image.jpgthe best two books I've read bought them recent and didn't put them down untill i had finished id recommend these two to any one who likes a read and I think both the authors use this forum

I have read both these books and I agree both are excellent. I got both from skycat publications and there are a few more I am interested in that were on the website which I will get around to ordering. Dutch salmon gazehounds and coursing is good and the best hunting stories ever told I enjoyed not sure of author but it was about teddy Roosevelt hunting with dogs and rifles. Atb.
