Hi Mac, good luck with the new gun but what was bad with the Crow Sport in 177 ?

The reason i ask is because i was pondering on this springer as well as the HW 77, 97 and 80 another big temptation is a FWB sport 124 again (all in .177 ) :tongue2:

You may not be far wrong CC i just could not get on with it or the scorpion after i started to shoot 22 again and then went back to 177

Nothing wrong with ether rifle just me iv shot 22 since i was a kid may of been the other way round if i had shot 177 since i was a kid

when i shoot 22 its instinctive i no what mill dot i need at different distances and with 22 i no with out thinking witch one i need but with 177 i had to think about what i was doing

So CC like i say,d you may not be far wrong mate at all lol

any way here she is

If its like my new 95 ,it will be spot on

I hope so VM

But im still going down the v,mach and welsh willy trigger system plus polish and tune wrought

i want her as good as my 97 or better if that is possible lol

So more £££££,s to be spent on her yet

the money we spend on our toys and we never get it back when we do sell them lol

I am looking at kit for the 95 ,might go for welch willy or the wonky donkey (Dave Price ) £39

Dont no what the wonky donkey is like so im going to stick to what i no

and the welsh willy trigger iv got on the 97 is some thing else iv got it set to a point that if a nat was to cough it would set it off next to no first stage and as soon as it hits the second stage its off

I just dont put my finger near the trigger until im ready to take the shot but thats the way i like them to be lol

I may wait until you have sorted yours then you can tell me what there like if you go for the wonky donkey

Dave Price (wonky Donkey ) is a very well known air gun spring tuner ,you can send the gun of to him and have the works done ,IE Short stroked, buttoned piston and the rest for about £150 or have one of his drop in kits for £39 includes a new spring

Nice looking rifle pal, and yes its what you get used to, my Lynx .177 with Bisley mags, is bang on from 15- 32 yards, 45 yards 1 mil dot, and bang on the money @ 60 with two, despite my max shooting range with an air rifle on live quarry being 40 yards normally, I dropped a pigeon stone dead out of a tree @ 67 yards the other night, the only reason I took the shot was my mate clipped it as his scope had lost zero for some inexplicable reason, so I had no choice, dropped like a stone  looking forward to hearing your exploits when its tuned mate.
