stevo79 569
Hi everyone not posted on here before. I'm looking for some advice I breed poultry and I'm getting plagued with rooks and magpies eating eggs and feed. I want to get a air rifle and I don't want to spend no more than £150 or a tad higher. Been on a few sites and there's loads, so I'm not sure what's good or bad Any advice would be gratefull Cheers Quote Link to post
bauble 15
Welcome...im going to say it but the the stoeger x20 suppressor is ok for the Money about 160 new or the SMK XS19 .177 is an awesome cheap rifle. I've used one to take pest birds out of trees. I'm sure someone will say I'm wrong but 99-120 for a brand new xs19 full power rifle. It gets the done. Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,550
"Slow Down" Stevo, Mate no disrespect to any post, but with that budget of £150 you will invite good air rifles "with age and use" or cheap excuses. Save another £150 to make it £300 and its a completely different ball game, (buy cheap buy twice). My advice is look at no other than HW, A Arms. at a higher budget. A 10 year old BMW will not be as good as a 2 year old one "ever" atb Edited May 9, 2015 by mark williams Quote Link to post
stealthy1 3,964
HW77, will rival most other rifles in the right hands, and about your budget 2 Quote Link to post

stevo79 569
To be honest I'm not going to be using it too much so I won't be spending £300 on one. I'm sure you can get a lovely gun for that but il start off with something cheaper, and if I get the bugg then maybe i will pay that. You don't tell someone who's just passed there driving test to go out and buy a Ferrari do you. Lol? 1 Quote Link to post
charlie caller 3,654
If you buy a hw77 obviously in .177 you will not need another rifle, bitten by the bug or not, they are the business, save another 50 quid, and you will get a very nice rifle. Quote Link to post
