I go birding there in the winter but mostly stargazing as the skies are some of the darkest in the uk. I just have to close my eyes and I'm there, magical place. If you are into birding then the Crook of Baldoon is to the South of the forest and provides some stunning scenery. If you are roughing it then your in your element.
