John Stott 202
Chrono it regularly. Good practice and good discipline. A bit like rifle cleaning, it pays dividends in the end. Also remember even though they are the same product, each rifle will have its own quirks. Quote Link to post
toby63 1,236
is it worth seeing how much grease is inside and mopping some out Quote Link to post

villaman 9,982
Try that first ,most HW barrels from new have a lot of grease in them Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,568
11-6 ft/lbs using .177 AA fields, with 5p sized groups out to 40 yds at the indoor range with ease. My rifle is two years old and never misses a beat (touch wood). The .22 cal` HW KS averages 11.4 ft/lbs using AA fields and just as accurate but my gut feeling is that my KT is a touch more powerful as it is used much more. atb Edited March 16, 2015 by mark williams 2 Quote Link to post

villaman 9,982
The cold will affect the power as well . put a hair dryer over the trigger and hammer assembly and take off the back plate ,then tip it up so the but is on the bench , that way you will get rid of the grease 1 Quote Link to post
Bunnyblatter 1,012
They do drop in power slightly in the colder months as the grease seems to get thicker in cold weather. I'd get it to a reputable RFD and get it removed and lightly oiled. Quote Link to post
