xs78 15
il try and make this a short story, just wanted to share cos im a T and proper shot myself in the foot.... Few months ago we had new neighbours move in, at first things were fine until they moved their dogs into some freshly built kennels at the end of the garden For weeks it was just constant barking 24/7 until it got to the point when I lost it and got into a huge argument, we haven't really spoke since Anyway, cutting the story short I found out the dogs are working dogs and the guys got shed loads of permissions, I just got home and looked out my window and hes got rabbits hanging up that are bigger then any I have on my perms and its healthy, mine are mostly full of mixy this past year trust me and my big mouth anyone have any similar experiences/screw ups lol? pianoman 3,589
So? Go over and say "Look we've had our problems in the past, can we put it behind us? How about a quick beer?" Nothing ventured, nothing gained. You are neighbours after all so make the effort and forget stubborn pride. Nicely put Timmy. That's what I would do! Quote Link to post

skinner 348
couldn't give a feck about all the permission , is dogs barking 24/7 worth it I don't think so 4 Quote Link to post

xs78 15
bet that tickled mac, should of shot your self in the other hand with the other caliber to see which hurts most At least you can then blame god and say its stigmata , definitely wont look so silly walking into a&e saying u shot yourself in the hand Been looking out for the chap next door, he's never around much so haven't bumped into him yet. I'm gona wave the white flag and throw a few apologies his way for the way I kicked off, hopefully get the ball rolling Quote Link to post
xs78 15
I wrote a post then managed to delete it couldn't give a feck about all the permission , is dogs barking 24/7 worth it I don't think so I have to agree If the bloke is a problem why bother but if your problem with your neighbour was possibly because of your intransigence in the situation then there is some room to maneuver . The dogs are not so much of a problem now, they still have their moment but next door do make a bit more effort then before, it just takes a while before they bother to start sorting them out And barrywhite I definitely could of handled the situation much better but a month of howling does something weird to your brain Edited February 16, 2015 by xs78 1 Quote Link to post
skycat 6,174
There's nothing worse than dogs constantly barking or howling to wind you up tighter than a steel spring. I'd be asking myself why he doesn't sort the problem out permanently: zap collars, jets of water, but most of all: WHY are they making a racket all the time? Don't they get out on a daily basis? He can't be much of a dog man by the sounds of it, and maybe not the sort of person you really want to be going out hunting with. Quote Link to post
