jamesS410 106
Accuracy - yes, I think has been said several times.......but always good to say it again. But its not the ONLY thing. OK. I'll give you that, accuracy isn't the only consideration but unless you're seriously down on power it is the criteria that matters above all else Any pellet in the RIGHT SPOT carrying more than 3 to 4 ft/lb of energy will give a clean kill 2 Quote Link to post

random 659
I managed to accuire half a tin of h@n ftt earlier for free from my local gun shop. I zero'd indoors at 14 yards and got a good grouping.wether the grouping will be worse at 25-28 yards remains to be seen I use these in my hw100 and I have taken rabbit past 40 yards a few times and fifty yards on occasion so defo recommend them... random 659
Oh and in terms of grouping I zero at around 30 yards and all the pellets touch so not too bad,I can still get them touching out to 35 or so then aim accordingly at 40 or more... Quote Link to post
Rez 4,961
What was the original question...?! Having sifted though all this flirtin over probably 4 grains of weight, I've forgot. We're air gunners... It's not as if we're shooting game over anything more than 45 yards. Stick a 14 grain in the zone it will do the job... Same as an 18 grain, the 18 may 'hit' harder, but the rabbit ain't gonna be able to tell the difference 3 Quote Link to post
