The Super 10 Flexes It's Muscles!

Recommended Posts

As you may know I recently had to take the Super 10 back as a circlip came off the valve bush stem and fell in the anti bounce. This was fixed by Mr Bowkett, even though it was nothing to do with the work he had done, whilst he was inside the S10 he also fitted the latest upgrades and a nice big cocking bolt handle. He has upped the power slightly to 11.6 using the most efficient pellet (Ogives) and made it quieter. In fact there was only 4db difference between using a silencer and not using one, so Mini Me has a BSA endcap in place and is now much shorter as a result. Dressed in the BSA 150th anniversary sling we bought just for this gun, it now really looks the muts!

I decided to do a spot of roost shooting after rezeroing at 30 m. However only 1 pigeon came in. Lets play spot where it landed!

That's right, at the top of the tallest ruddy fir tree in the permission!

The red dot marks the point of landing and settling. I positioned myself so I had a clear shot and click, thwack, it took a dive into the dirt! Not a bad shot and a great way to welcome the Super 10 back. Nothing else came in so had to settle for one pigeon. Idiot forgot to photo the pigeon in the rush to get home. By the time he had remembered, the pigeon was in kit form!
