Rapid Mk1 Or Mk 2

To the guys that shoot these guns a shot an airarms s410 and hw100 both in 22 been reading about the rapids lately is there much of a diffrance between the mk 1 and mk2 just in the standered form av herd the main thing is the trigger on the mk 1 is not as good as the mk 2 but apart from that the seem not alot in it other wise but who bettet to ask than the guys that shot them any info will be good as thinking about one thanks

Basically Mk 1 addicts will state that there is less to go wrong on their guns (and to be fair the original Theoben regulator had a reputation for being more than a tad mardy). The Mk 2 addicts will say they get more shots per fill and no sweet spot to keep it in.

 

Those who don't care will say that it will break down anyway being a Theoben!

Good post. Hopefully just got myself one. Picking up at the weekend. Mk1 has no reg, but everything else is the same. But one can be fitted if need be.

Had a mk 1 for at least 10 yr had and sold lots in between but the rapid always stays

Thanks guys for the info the guys thats had them seem to swear buy them and the seem to be super accurate evan though some of the mk 1s are a fair old age they still seem to give the latest guns a fair run for there money

ive had 2 mk1s and got a mk 2 and id say my mk2 . my brother as mk1 and prefers mine ? every one to there own i suppose

Just picked a good mk1 up. Rather epic. No. Really. From a good chap too.

I had a well tuned mk1 and it had the same if not better fps spread than a mk2, either way you'll love which ever you get! You could always fast flow which ever you get and that tuned by KevG will get a fps spread less than 4 like mine
