I don't to be honest and it normally works out that the amount they are eating as they start working properly and lose that puppy fat is the amount they will eat as an adult if that makes sense ........

Depending on breed between 9 to 12 months ........

so you'd change a terrier earlier thn a lurcher ? Just a question as I'v always had lurchers an recently bought a terrier for the first time an I avnt got as much experience with the little tykes

Smaller dogs mature earlier than big dogs. Most terriers will have finished growing by between 8 and 10 months depending on type and breed. A big lurcher won't even have finished growing its skeleton until it is over 15 months of age, particularly dog pups.
