people say there local is shut but feck me I have just been out for 6 hours for 5 rabbits haha I only had 5 slips and he caught 4 but they were daft slips on hedge hugging rabbits and my mates dog caught 2 but dropped one but for 6 hours that is shit we were walking 5-6 fields seeing nothing at all, however we had a good bit banter between us and we were discussing how keen you have gotta be to lamp so long for so little. normally we would have been home by 3 but gave a bigger bag

like been said matey i and many others have travelled longer than 6 hours for a blank or less than you got the fact you caught something and had good banter sometimes that makes a shite night all the more enjoyable

Myself and doyley off here have had simular nights. Gets the dogs out and a good bit of banter sometimes there the better nights not all about the bag mate

The dogs will be fitter and better for the foray,the best days and nights hunting often have the smallest bags,plus you will know to take a different route next time.Its learning the lie of the land and what each acre holds,then reaping the rewards for the hours and slog you put in.

Walked the same land for years had a lot of sport from it over the years and have had some good sport this season just a crappy night I guess plus u did try a new spot start of the night one run and that was if haha

Well done..I regularly walk 6 hours minimum lol on my daytime forays and don't see a thing other than bloody sheep!!..it's always good to be out and about..we always won't be able to do so .. keep on keeping on whilst your able . ATB Andy

If be happy walking the land you do just for the view ? I have had a load if shit nights lamping but I have also had a load of great nights not so much numbers but how the dog performs and catch to miss ratio
