Mick C. 229
Going to the doctors is really up to the individual I went, ihad too. Years later I applied for a job with a council. They researched my back ground . Some person rang me up and needed to know what had happened and how I was feeling at that moment in time. Igave my explaination of events and low and behold I got the job a week or two later. Must admit thought I had blown it when I realised they check your medical history
nothernlite 18,260
Jesus Christ heals depression so does electric shock treatment Not in my (our) experiance it doesn't. ECT can leave someone with short term memory loss, and the person having it needs to be put under. Hasn't worked in this house. Wouldn't recommend it. To much to go wrong if the Doctors doing it aren't paying enough attention. Believe me. well my brother thinks different he was a first response paramedic had to give his job up because of depression with what he seen over the years with his job plus army career he had the treatment said it was great what works with one may not work with another

dare 1,103
Ecstasy would be great for it if it wasnt for the come downs. Saying that I just used it as a drug to party and defiantly took more than the doctor would ever tell someone. I'm sure in some countries they actually do use ecstasy? Course I'm half joking and not telling anyone to go out and pop some pills. Just wonder how does depression affect the brain as its a mental illness. Does it have anything to do with your serotonin levels?

Does it have anything to do with your serotonin levels? Great while you're on it because it causes a massive spike in serotonin production. Problem is it leaves you massively depleted of it for days afterwards.
