Country Joe 1,411
It is a good cause, but the television coverage as usual is truly awful, saw a clip of Brucie Forsyth, that was enough for me, can they know, just leave him sleeping in his geriatric chair. pesky1972 5,686
Didn't see any of it..., in the boozer watching Scotland batter Ireland :-) The stuff on the night is always a bit naff but it's a difficult one as it's got to have a bit of something for everyone. Some of the clips they run are very sad but also a real eye opener. Reminds me that my own life, and the lives of my kids, could be a whole lot worse. Also, with all the negativity we're subjected to in the news every day, it kind of restores a bit of faith in humanity for me. You've got to admire the way some of these kids just get on with making the best of life, and the people who dedicate their lives to helping others can't be praised highly enough. 32 mil on the night...go on GB!
