gnasher16 31,485
Ta chaps......do these cameras have a minimum range ?.....as an example if i was to put one on a bird feeder or in the aviary for example, would that be too close.........also do you set to either video or photo or can it do both ?....Probably the sort of thing its best just buying then having a play with it. gnasher16 31,485
I did think that Johnny but a go pro you would just be leaving it on record wouldnt you ?....whereas these trail cams only come on with detection dont they, plus i would like to set it up for wildlife as well so if i can kill 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak......
socks 32,253
The picture will still be clear if the bird is pecking at the screen ... And yes you either have it on still shots or video and its motion activated .......

Ive got visions of leaving it in place for a week and going back to a pile of dust Edited October 14, 2014 by gnasher16
J Darcy 5,871
I have a bushnell and rate it. I am looking at getting another one, ideally a camera that records for 180 seconds and that will take stills at the same time.
