spade 224
A great series. The second series nearly didn't happen and I remember reading somewhere that some of the series was shot on location somewhere in Ireland.
ratbuster 807
Thought the family are descendants from Irish Roma gypsies (pikies ) so their slang will be based on Irish / Gypsy language. Does that sound the same as Brummie street language ? Sometimes it's rather hard for me to follow But THE question to answer is: Will Thommy speak again after the Italians cut out his tongue ? mattyg 1,862
Most of the outside scenes are shot in Liverpool and Leeds and a bit in Dudleys Black Country museum as they still have some good period places. Most of digbeth is or will be redeveloped in the near future. Still some good proper pubs left round there though, but not many. Matt
