jessdale 416
"Go to bed with Nigel Farage and wake up with Ed Miliband". The snake charmer can say anything he wants, he knows he will not have to do any of it. Easiest job in the world.
Guest ragumup
I perhaps gullible totally believe in Nigel... Ukip may not have the infrastructure yet but they have one thing the other party's don't common sense ..... Folks slag off ukip yet don't put an alternative forward ... Once you find out for yourself that moderate muslim want sharia over everyone and how there is a plan laid out by Mohammad to take over society you'll think again. Go to bed with liblabcon and wake up with more EU.....
Truther 1,579
I'm on my phone ... Anyway regarding above stupid would be being a far right supporter and not taking a punt on getting a nationalist party into the mainstream because there was 1 Muslim in it lol. I don't trust any of them but my vote won't be swayed by anyone on here I was merely pointing out how damaging ragumup was to his own cause. Im for the indigenous people of this country mate, the ones who have fought/died and worked to make it what it was, that don't make me "a far right supporter" Fact is i like policies from most of the major parties, on the same hand i know they're all puppets. I know a party with muslims won't solve the muslim problem, Farrage is just playing to the crowd, he couldn't run a piss up in a brewery.

Born Hunter 17,907
LOL, okay if that's what you want to believe. Doesn't make a gnats cock of difference to me personally. And I'd bloody well hope he does have a spin doctor, it'd be great if the electorate were objective and politics was purely based on logical thought but it's a fact that appearance is everything! Even the most useless leaders know that.
J Darcy 5,871
Farage is BY FAR the most down to earth leader of any of our main political parties. He talks the most common sense and I actually believe him. The fact that he is not afraid to speak his mind gives hope that he will be honest. I hope that the next election UKIP get in and change this country.

mackay 3,580
No one is saying Ukip have all the answers to all the problems. They get my vote, why?, well by process of elimination of all the parties that's where I end up, it's as simple as that and to be brutally honest simplistic as it may sound it's probably how most people end up with their chosen party. Regarding what they can and can't do if in power, they don't actually need to be in power to do some good, for me, just a ukip presence at the top end to keep the bstards in power on the back foot would be a start and don't be mistaken the fact that ukip are on the rise has already curtailed the other parties. Just the other day on national radio I heard Clegg say he did not think immigrants should receive benefits automatically when coming here. Did you ever think you would hear that from his mouth?, was it a change of heart?, listening to the people?, no, quite simply it's due to the rise of ukip and the libdems are dead in the water. The other parties haven't been as hard hit but it is coming and be under no illusion things that would never have changed will do so quite simply because of ukip.

gnasher16 31,325
Darcy I believe him too, I really do..... Not to be rude....but im just curious as to why you believe him ?.....do you think you are a better judge of character than people who dont believe him ? after all said and done most of us want pretty much the same thing so to put every bit of faith in this man as you clearly do what is it about him as a human being that gives you such confidence in his words ? Guest ragumup
Gnasher Its a good question, I can't quite put my finger on it .....I suppose because I know myself and everything he say's hits the mark, Its more than just a gut feeling .... I see him as regard's a leader ..."Thatcher in a tie"
dillydog 8,517
I've been a conservative voter all my adult life, but I honestly think it's time for a change, for myself and my country. Yes he'll have to jump through a few hoops to get where he wants to be but I'll be voting UKIP next time regardless of whether it gets whoever in or whatever coalition, if we can't vote with honesty then why should we expect any difference from the political elite. Farage talks a lot more sense than any off the others and as far as I know he hasn't changed his tune to conform.

I see him as regard's a leader ..."Thatcher in a tie" I just dont hear much from him we havent heard before from others.....so it would just have to come down to personality as to why i would believe him over anyone else and hard as it is to judge without looking in a mans eye he doesnt strike me as a personality that comes across any more sincere or believable than the next man......hence i dont understand where that total confidence in his word comes from. But what you say is fair enough and logical....when you dont have reason stick with instinct
