used to be a man round edinburgh area, had black and white collie types nice dogs he was from broxburn area maybe james was his name early ninties ,vey simliar type like to see a dog working was on a large feild working a dog of the roadside on some stubble she had a good hunt ,last nite cant beat it ,glad you got a few catches

I think you're on about James Mckelvie...he had a cracking collie cross called Hemp if my memory serves me right...

ye james mckelvie ,had dogs simliar still got one ,getting rarer the type of collie type that can do all thats asked with a bit style ,he had two if my memory serves right ,he bred them to a greyhound but some of the bitches i saw were fine made good for open land , but not a s robust as there father ,
