Got two goldie cocks going throught moult they seem abit skinny when I got them I was told to feed them canary seed mixed with plenty of niger seed is this normal or am I doing something wrong should I do and feed them something else please tell me if so will take all comments in but a don't want anybody to have a go because I can't be bothered with it if I'm wrong then il fix it

I'm feeding them the same canary seed mix whith added niger and teezle

But also plenty of greens broccoli apple lettuce

 

Was told to buy a special goldfinch mix but [BANNED TEXT] I looked at it it was just canary seed mixed with a few extra seeds (Niger teezle ect) think u doing just fine mate

Thanks mate where would I be able to get teesle from mate is it a type of bird seed mate I will put some greens in with them mate they just seem a bit skinny mate that's all cheers

Teasel grows wild mate can be found on most old overgrown industrial waste grounds.
