J Darcy 5,871
I should have quoted your op, if that's the case we must just differ on how recently it fledged, personally I think the adult would still be feeding it & hasn't long left the nest. No probs buddy...I'm wrong, you're right... all the best.
steve66 3,772
Quite amazing to think of the journeys some of these birds make for migration , the amount of open water they cross and predators to aviod Lets hope the little one makes it
Wildling 520
Trigger you did your best matey, it's a shame people like to give advice without any knowledge of the subject in hand. If people only gave advice on subjects they have knowledge on half the topics on here would never get off the ground !!.............Long as you make the person aware your not an expert i cant see the problem. At least it wouldn't be full of drivel from so called "experts" !

jonah. 775
My good intentions killed a Goldie chick last week, had one drop out the tree right next to me while I was fishing a pool on a campsite, I took it to an old boy over the other side of the camp that knows his birds, straight away he said it's got little or no chance now, what I should have done was climb the tree he fell out of and stuck him high, problem was the site was crawling with dogs an I just wanted to get it safe, it was pissing down at the time. You live and learn, sometimes we get it right, sometimes we don't, gotta keep trying though, either way.
