Fao Fly Fisher Men

Nice fish Fireman. Those brown trout are as fat as butter, are they stocked fish mate ?

Bell

The sea trout are wild fish caught in tidal salt water/fresh water fin perfect and have had shrimp and small silver fish(mullet fry maybe) in their guts when cleaned out and one of them regurgitated a golf ball sized ball of earthworms when i hooked into it.I'm not saying where i caught them but the river is tidal and i catch these fish in pools where they sit between tides as the river isn't deep enough for them to travel it and it's sure not big enough to have these sized fish live in it all year round.Brown trout they may have been once but these fish live in the sea and run to a place to sporn(also known and not saying where)and at some point they all dissapear as the run stops and not being funny back but have had this debate with a few folk over it and don't take offence by being questoned about them but if you were blind folded and tasted these fish you'd know they came from the sea rather than the river.:thumbs: .

By the way we blanked tonight :icon_redface::laugh:
