What Would You Changen To The Ban?

OK this could end badly,

 

But I have taken 10 years out since I was really out there in the fields. It is only the last 3 I have picked up a gun and got a dog.

 

I fully believe mink, fox, squirrel and mice (stupidity in law writing!) Should be put back on.

 

I think I am not alone with every man who likes runnings dogs, wants to be able slip a dog on a hare without looking over my shoulder.

 

I have some concerns on deer; nike airs and idiots detract from it done well.

 

But to add smaller muntjac and cwd non native as they are can't be a problem bushing with dogs etc.

 

It goes without saying removing the two dog limit.

 

What are other peoples thoghts, to stump criticism I would never claim to be a dog man. But a hunting enthusiast and cocerned about the erosion of country ways.

I will say you can take sollice in the fact that most of the conservationists end up selling their souls writing environmental risk assessments for oil companies etc. allowing them to destroy the countryside.

The thing I dont understand is its ok to shoot any animal you want when there's no test to have a gun licence you could be the worst shot in the world ! That being said some bellend with a gun could shoot any animal and not kill it this animal running off and dieing a few days or weeks later of terrible suffering once a dogs got something its usually dead pretty quick !! I dont really know what I would change maybe there should be a tested and a kennel check or something to give you s level of hunter so you can hunt certain pests I dont knoe the bans a load of crap up but with boys putting pictures of theres dogs killing fox and badgers on facebook and saying look how ard my dog is theres no hope of a change

It this that I am thinking off when it comes to larger deer etc.

 

I was bought up if you are not going to eat it or it isn't eating something you eat don't kill it.

You are right there tozer have respect for what you hunt. If you going to kill it eat it or make use of it otherwise leave it to live another day.

I'd say as long as you have permission you should be able to take any game with dogs as long as it isn't endangered.

what about a licence to hunt? should of left it as it was and everyone buy a licence like fishing on the rivers ect plenty of money for the govenment and we keep on hunting ..

instead we get hit with a wast of time and money ban which dont work ..

Buying a licence to control farmers pests,how would that work? Surely the would use the licence to keep tabs on

People who hunt?and the people break the law wouldn't get one anyway,

 

I believe if their was vast areas of common land,like the USA that would work but everywhere here is owned

The hunting ban is known to be a useless piece of legislation,some adhere to it,as best they can,others never adhered to the hunting restrictions before more were added.The majority of prosecutions are by way of the hunting laws pre-ban,thus the lads would still have been prosecuted.The best way to circumnavigate the new and old statute is,don,t leave the confines of your garden,mind you did,nt a mush get prosecuted for killing a trapped squiggle in his garden?,or hunt with a certain amount of nous and subterfuge,thats the bull x owners knacked then?.

I guess the jist I was mulling over (after too many beers) last night was putting together a list and reasoned argument. I am not the first.
