thefensarefarbutistillgo 2,639 Posted June 19, 2014 Report Share Posted June 19, 2014 Just been watching all the different clips of red on YouTube and was thinking what a clever dog he was, he was thinking one step ahead of the hare all the time and blocking it off on nearly every turn so the hares didn't know where to go with him behind them, he looks very steady but I think that's just because he had a very calculated style of running and was antisapating every turn the hare made, but he had the gear to get to the hedges before the hare and row them off, I've watched a few clips of him before and not thought that much of it, but if you sit down and study all the runs properly on different bits of land you realise the dog was a masterpiece 4 Quote Link to post

One of he's sisters was on a hare when it ran across a road , the bitch was tight to it and got hit by a car as she followed . she got up ran into the next field and still caught it, She didn't brake anything and probably just clipped the car but she was very sore. Although some where better than others I still think the whole litter was quality ! Quote Link to post
