well put at the end of the day there or 100s of books out there about terrier work all i asked what one was the best to get my lad

Dont like dog braggin,but I have got something pretty serious to put it on. I have got a red box.Its very good,just could be a bit smaller thats all id say. I like that it doesnt make that annoying beep noise though.

Try The American Working Terrier by Patrick Burns some of its not relevant to here in the UK but there is plenty of useful information for the beginner.

Terrier work can't be learned from a book but I would never stop a young lad reading just about anything on the subject.

One book IMO that a young lad could learn a bit from is Eddie Chapmans first book.
