clipo 871
Our last house had a great 'garden'. Our actual enclosed garden was small (to keep the dog in). But beyond that there was a pond for the ducks and geese, a large enclosed area with green house and raised beds, a small field then a decent sized pond full of coarse fish. This all adjacent to 100's of acres of farmland, a stream and large piece of forestry. Shame the house itself was falling apart! Now we're in a new build the garden is pretty shit!!! Will put some pics on tomorrow.. how the other half live.........

Bosun11 537
bosun how do i sort this out it is elder int it ???? SANY5247.jpg Ground elder is a fecker Stig, when I moved in here 5 years back, this garden was overgrown to feck and choc full of ground elder. I simply used Roundup where I could BUT you can't spray it around plants you want to keep or it'll do the lot in. the old boy down the road said simply pour the Roundup in a tin can and using a soft inch brush, paint the leaves...! I thought feck that it'll take ages but it never, it was fast enough as your only doing it round plants you want to keep. Works a treat! Keep the tin and brush out the way and use it when ness! Cracking garden by the way, love that look but whilst I've got a 4 year old, I need that open prairie look too. Though i'm a little bit Forrest Gump and can mow lawns for England, I love it! I bought an old full scythe at the car booty last weekend, it'll get the full outdoor hit, paint & varnish and it'll go on the side of the kennels, along with the gin traps and other old garden tools.
