Rabbithunter 456
as you can see its about time i sorted my garden. Going to do it in two halfs. Firstly this smaller half. I want to fill it with shillies. Do i need to go to thr hassle of weeding it. Or can i just run a rotivator over it level out the best i can then Stick some terram down and drop a couple tonne of shillies ? or do i need to do daft things like putting a subbase down ? TOMO 29,176
Why not just grass those bits,,,even the big bit is small,,,and only take 5 mins to run a mower over,,,even a cheap shit electric one,,,then along the fence,,,grow a few bits you can eat,,,even easy stuff,,, like some herbs,,,mint,,thyme,,rosemary ,,,and a couple of small apple trees or fruit bushes,,, dead easy to maintain,,, and great for your kids

haymin 2,465
If your putting stones down just get rid of the green the best you can then lay tram down then edge it all with sarkin (wood ) when your placing sarkin down make sure the tram is underneath , you may be better to go round edges first to make a small channel fir the tram if that makes sense ? The intention is too build a 2 or 3 brick wall round the edge of the 'mud' to keep the shillies in place it will make a cracking bit for table and chairs. As in the summer it gets plenty of sunshine
