gnasher16 30,872
Before the days of fancy technology i used to bank on walking 1800 steps to 1 mile at a good pace which took around 15 minutes = 4mph........that was roadwork though which is obviously easier...........obssessed as i was if a dog needed 4 miles i would actually count out 7200 steps in my head ....what id of done for a pedometer all those years ago .................Handy little link that Edited May 4, 2014 by gnasher16

pesky1972 5,602
Endomondo is another (free) tracker app that I use for running. Occasionally also used it when going long walks with the dog... just out of curiosity.
