Themoocher 231
Yeah agree pacific was bit slower pal. I was amphibious soldier so that's why I like pacific.
reaper6 84
Gotta love the Great Escape its a classic film....Donald Pleasance in real life was a serving RAF officer during WW2 who was shot down on a bombing mission and was put in a Stalag
Born Hunter 17,910
I watched Sink the Bismark! earlier today. Not usually one to sit through an old film but that managed to grab me till the end. I love the new war films but I'd love to see a modern day epic. These small and simple ones that focus on a single battle or one soldier are a plenty, Black hawk Down, Behind Enemy Lines etc etc. A decent film on a modern fictional/semi-fictional conflict with shit loads of fast jets, air craft carriers, subs, tanks, artillery, SFs, the fecking works! LOL. Or even a decent remake of a WWII classic with plenty of that 'big stuff'. Be nice to see a decent British war film too, but that'll never happen, not in the capacity I imagine anyway.
