off the tether 277
Some i do mate, some i cut the full bottom out it depends on your land and drainage, i don't use the full perch cross ways method, as a cock can get hung and tangled that way, i like the half perch screwed to the back of my barrels, also mate i find the inside roost method fare more safe, if you like me are fortunate enough to have your own land, and have not got your birds to fare from eye sight, you will find it takes a lot of time for the chicken thief to reach in and pull a cock or stag out without making a lot of noise in the middle of the night, i am not saying it wont happen because its happened to me, but not as easy for the scum, and you wont lose as many, just my way that's all cheers mate O,T,T
Shamo 319
When I first started in the Birds, most 'Travellers' weren't interested in the smaller ones. If you kept a mix of Asian and Yank, then they would just grab what you had, but the Asians would bring them there. Friends of mine, like me, wouldn't have any Asian Game Fowl near their Yards, not even the odd Hen for crossing.
