So not to put too broad a spectrum, say the problem is a fox, and it lives semi rural Quote Link to post

walshie 2,804
Foxes in semi-rural environments are anyone's guess. I've had to wait 2 weeks on occasions, and another time got 3 in 3 nights. Quote Link to post

lucky 578
I've never trapped a fox before but a friend of mine catches quite a few throughout the year, he puts turf or soil on the floor of his trap so the fox isn't spooked by walking on the mesh, he also baits just outside the trap for a day or so until he sees the bait gone then he baits the trap and usually catches the fox within the next couple of nights. He normally uses a dead pigeon or chicken for bait. Quote Link to post

With all these threads your starting asking about fox traps and placement and live baits etc you obviously have a fox problem that you can't solve ... Why not just ask for the exact advice you need ........ 1 Quote Link to post
